ercol works with solid and wood and wood veneers. Using high quality Oak, Ash, elm, beech and walnut, from sustainable forests around the world. Timber is carefully chosen to best suit the design.
The beauty of timber is in its color and grain, each piece of furniture shows this natural grain and color making each ercol item unique.
ASH TImber
Ash wood is known for being hard, dense and good properties of resistance and high elasticity. Easy to work with and finish, it can be bent and shaped with ease.
Oak TImber
Known for its durable and long lasting reputation, with an attractive grain, water resistance and ability to stain and polish with ease. Less likely to warp with sunlight, oak is a robust timber made to last.
ercol black
A simple, classic finish in black. Pairs easily with other items in a styled space, and ages well. To view a timber sample, book an appointment to visit us.
Dead Matt
A classic finish to reveal the natural qualities of the timber. A water based lacquer is sprayed, while it appears clear it adds a slight color to add depth and sealing the timber.
